Adult literacy program looking for volunteers to tutor 2 hours a week. Weekday program located in the Davenport-Perth Neighbourhood Centre. Open Monday to Thursday from noon to 9 pm. Tutoring help needed for reading, writing, math, and basic computer skills. Our focus is helping adults who never finished high school become more independent, prepare for further education or training, or enhance their employability skills. We offer individualized instruction in a supportive learning environment. Help an adult learner in a group setting 1-3 pm or 7-9 pm or meet 1-1 during program hours at a time that suits you and the learner. Interested?
