Train with Canada’s oldest stage combat school, Rapier Wit. These exciting and intensive workshops will focus on the foundation of acting and the illusion of conflict. Our day long classes will help our participants grow as physical performers and develop safe and powerful actions while they work on the foundation of acting and the illusion of conflict. Our day-long classes will help our participants grow as physical performers and develop safe and powerful actions. The disciplines we will be covering are unarmed, single sword, and quarterstaff. Participants will have the opportunity to train with some of Canada’s best industry professionals and to test for their certification with Fight Directors Canada, Canada’s only national wide and internationally recognized stage combat association. Rapier Wit uses FDC's curriculum for all certification events. FDC’s training is the standard for safe and effective stage combat in Canada due to its depth and quality. Space is limited to ten participants, so register early!
May 4 - 17 Basic Actor Combatant Workshop
May 19 - June 2 Intermediate Actor Combatant Workshop
A $100 non-refundable deposit is needed to hold a space
