I am selling my Celestron Advanced C6 telescope. I purchased this telescope in July 2007, and have used it fewer than 10 times since I bought it (thus the reason for selling it). I purchased the telescope itself for $1239.95 plus taxes ($1413.55 in total). I do have the receipt if requested. I will also include several items I bought afterwards including: Celestron PLOSSL Fully Multi-coated lenses (4mm, 6mm, 9mm, 25mm, 32mm, 2x Barlow lens), a 90 degree adapter (easier on the neck trust me!), a Celestron Deluxe Tele-Extender and adapter for Canon SLR cameras (other adapters are readily available online). My camera adapters are of $75 value and have only been used twice . Also included is a set of filters that screw into each individual lens. Red, orange, blue, green, yellow, smoke, and moon filters - greatly enhances viewing conditions. Operated by Nexstar, the telescope has a 40,000 object database - including planets, galaxies, star clusters, double stars, etc. Just punch in your location and select an object from the handheld controller and the telescope aligns itself!!
6" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope
StarBright XLT high transmission coatings
6x30 finderscope to help accurately find objects
Heavy Duty (CG-5GT) computerized German equatorial mount
Ultra sturdy 2" diameter steel tripod with accessory tray
Star diagonal provides more comfortable viewing position when observing objects that are high in the sky.
This is a perfect opportunity to purchase before the nice weather hits!! Thank you for your interest,
Scott
