We are looking for telemarketing reps who want to work from home mostly calling businesses for appointment setting and lead generation. Our clients are mostly from Canada and the US. However, we do get some International campaigns. Hours are somewhat flexible. No calling experience necessary, but previous experience preferred. We require people with an upbeat attitude and a willingness to learn. You must have basic computer skills. You must have High Speed Internet. Don’t even bother applying if you don’t have High Speed. We do general company training, then do project training as needed. Projects do change frequently. Some projects; do have bonuses. We will not guarantee full time hours. This position require travel throughout Canada and the USA. Must have a valid passport. Must have mechanical and electrical experience in machinery. Management/supervisor experience is required. Responsibilities: Work hands on in the service department and attend service calls when necessary. Manage people and resources to achieve safe, efficient operations and cost control, while providing technical advice and service to customers and internal departments. Interact with sales and customers on a timely basis to provide courteous and effective service. Ensure quality of workmanship of department meets requirements of the company. Specifically to: Direct activities of Service Department technicians. Plan for effective use of department resources and materials. Maintain safety program. Schedule department work and assign duties to personnel. Develop departmental procedures to meet requirements for safety, efficiencies, effectiveness and cost control. Maintain control and organization of shop procedures, equipment and supplies. Review delivery memos and assure accuracy. Maintain records of customer service inquiries and review. Schedule ESA work and maintain working relations with Electrical personnel. Schedule dealer prep work and customer specification work orders. Prepare estimates for machine modifications, rebuild and refurbishing. Review expense accounts. Identify training needs. Identify training programs. Maintain safety policies and procedures. To provide ongoing support to the sales department through sourcing and generating new sales leads and opportunities. * Provide inside sales support to the Major Account Executives, assist by providing information preparing material and or reports for their use * Provide specialized support to Key Accounts (as identified) * Provide spot pricing based upon criteria (as defined) * Participate and support the sales department in the growth and generation of new sales activity and maintenance of existing accounts * With company support and training, be proficient in prospecting new opportunities for all Core companies and/or services * Conduct eighty (80) cold calls and information gathering per week, based on various industry publications, while providing information, to area Sales Managers for follow up * Book/confirm a minimum of five (5) appointments per week for the Major Account Executives * Complete a daily sales activity summary and forward to Director of Sales * Follow up on new account holders, with respect to rates, air waybills and contact information * Monitor and track "special cargo" shipments as required * Other duties as assigned *Computer skills including but not limited to MS-Office. (i.e. Word, Excel & Power Point) * Highly motivated and results oriented * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Strong organizational skills with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment * High School Education with a minimum of 1-2 years relevant work experience.
