Due to substantial growth, our client has an immediate opening for a Construction Project Coordinator/ Assistant Tile Supervisor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a challenge in a fast paced environment, and the opportunity to grow with a winning team.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
• Main Task: measuring countertops on-site and preparing reliable and accurate drawings to provide to marble shops to cut the marble/granite
• Assist with document processing and customer inquiries inside the office
• Inside and outside duties consisting of ordering products, preparing and delivering samples, taking phone calls, reviewing invoices and site measures
• Within a team setting, working closely and assisting supervisor and managers as well subcontractors, workers and controllers
• Must be able to interpret blueprints in order to measure surface area and calculate amount of material required to cover the installation
• Respond to all inquiries in a timely, accurate and professional manner
• Requires significant use of memory, computer use and continuous learning
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
• 1-2 years related experience
• Superior communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently without supervision and make decisions to achieve optimal results
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
• Proven ability to work with people at all levels
• Ability to allocate one’s time effectively
