Accounts Receivable Clerk Bilingual
You will be working for a dynamic, fast growing top of the range flooring and wall tiles Distribution Company.
Accounts Receivable responsibilities will include:
-Post to accounts receivable ledger and journal
-Prepare billings, bank deposits, customer statements, aging reports, and other operating statements
-Perform past due account collection by telephone and in writing
-Research disputed account balances
-Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
-Address to Management problems and disputes the customers might have (unpaid balances, returns, etc.)
-Assist the credit management (in setting up new accounts, updates, communications with customers, etc.)
-Send monthly statements
-Mail (or e-mail) daily invoices
-Basic knowledge of sales taxes
-Book customers payments
-Make daily deposits to the bank
-Assist in the accounting and other departments when needed
-Available for yearly inventory
The ideal candidate MUST have the following:
-Good Accounting skills able to use accounting software
-Excellent MS: Word and Excel skills especially using formulas and formatting testing
-Self-starter
-Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written
-Intermediate French language skills and Italian (optional)
-Preferably studying for CGA, or CA status or some college course completion
This is an excellent, long term, full time opportunity with a stable company. Pay is $30,000-$35,000/yr and is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm. The office is located in North York and is easily accessible by TTC.
Intermediate French language skills REQUIRED

Senior Accountant
The Senior Accountant will report to the Accounting Manager.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Supervision of the financial accounting for one of three operating regions
· Direct supervision and training of 1-2 staff accountants
· Preparation of monthly financial statements and associated monthly reporting
· Preparation of monthly GL reconciliations
· Ensure a high level of internal control is maintained
· Management of special projects as they arise
Qualifications:
· Professional accounting designation (CMA or CGA) or in final phases of program
· Minimum three years’ related experience
· Excellent computer skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Knowledge of cost accounting
· Ability to supervise and motivate staff
· Ability to do some light travel
