Accounts Receivable Clerk Bilingual

You will be working for a dynamic, fast growing top of the range flooring and wall tiles Distribution Company.
Accounts Receivable responsibilities will include:
-Post to accounts receivable ledger and journal
-Prepare billings, bank deposits, customer statements, aging reports, and other operating statements
-Perform past due account collection by telephone and in writing
-Research disputed account balances
-Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
-Address to Management problems and disputes the customers might have (unpaid balances, returns, etc.)
-Assist the credit management (in setting up new accounts, updates, communications with customers, etc.)
-Send monthly statements
-Mail (or e-mail) daily invoices
-Basic knowledge of sales taxes
-Book customers payments
-Make daily deposits to the bank
-Assist in the accounting and other departments when needed
-Available for yearly inventory
The ideal candidate MUST have the following:
-Good Accounting skills able to use accounting software
-Excellent MS: Word and Excel skills especially using formulas and formatting testing
-Self-starter
-Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written
-Intermediate French language skills and Italian (optional)
-Preferably studying for CGA, or CA status or some college course completion
This is an excellent, long term, full time opportunity with a stable company. Pay is $30,000-$35,000/yr and is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5:30pm. The office is located in North York and is easily accessible by TTC.
Intermediate French language skills REQUIRED
